NB Tindale in his journal records that he took '160 feet of motion film of various scenes in the Gap looking north, and from various points on the western top of the gap. Also took pictures and stills of the upper reaches of the Finke, Mt Sonder in the NW and various shots to the E NE and one very fine one looking down Glen Helen towards Horn Valley.'
