  3. WD Walker with dead kangaroos,. Annotated "self in the McDonnell Ranges with camels and Aborigines 200 miles west of Alice Springs near Carrinyara (Mt Wedge). Here I shot a female kangaroo, and her joey which hopped out of the pouch. On examining the pouch I found that it also contained another joey about 1 inch long" [Australian Aboriginal people]
