  6. herd of horses. Annotated "40. Mob of 300 'brumbies' (wild horses) on Indulkininna Station 200 miles West of Oodnadatta. Their usual water supply is fenced in and as they come in they are trapped. Since the advent of the motor car there is but little market for horses. This photo was taken during recent drought and there being no feed for them all but 30 were shot. Feb 1928"
