  1. interior Lambeth Palace stamped Copyright WD Walker. Annotated "2 guineas. 11. The crypt Lambeth Palace. It dates back before 1185 and was 'discovered' in 1909 by an architect (WD Carrow) to have 9 consecutive floors - all of which have now been removed. The main crypt is the 'oldest' of its period in London and has been definitely proved to be older than that of Westminster Abbey"

  2. lamp lighter stamped Copyright WD Walker. Annotated "1 guinea. 15. London is still the 'same old place' and the lamp lighter is still a familiar sight in Bloomsbury. Russell Sq in the background. Taken at 4 pm on a bleak midwinters eve"

  3. panorama University of London stamped Copyright WD Walker. Annotated "2 guineas. 18. Site of the future University of London. Looking West from the roof of the Royal Photographic Society's house in Russell Sq. The large white building is the Lond School of Hygine and Tropical Medicine. The vacant space upon which buildings are soon to arise has for many years been used as a market garden. It extends in a NW direction for a qr of a mile from the British Museum whose shadow is seen on entrance left"

  4. Knebworth Castle stamped Copyright WD Walker. Annotated "1 guinea. 21. The hall of Knebworth Castle, is of beautiful and noble proportions. The wood panelling is restored to its originasl glory by the present Earl. Above the portrait is the banner of the 1st Earl, who was Viceroy of India and below the portrait is a replica in silver of a throne. This was presented to the Viceroy, when he enthroned the Maharaja of Indore"
