  2. drawing room stamped Copyright WD Walker. Annotated "1 guinea. 23. The drawing room of Knebworth Castle. The wall is hung with portraits of family ancestors including one, who was, with Pym and Hampden an important member of the Long Parliament. This room contains many historic relics, including the ink stand used by King Charles 1 when he signed the Treaty of ukOxford, hairs from Lord .Nelson,'s head, a little cameo ring of Ch 1, inside of which is the inscription 'I die by treachery' also the snuff box of the younger Pitt, Lord Byron's ruler, a small crucifix of Mary, Queen of Scots, etc"

  3. interior St Clement Danes stamped Copyright WD Walker. Annotated "1 guinea. 24. The church of St Clement Danes opposite Australia House. ANZAC Day service 1932. Those in the front pew on the left include the High Commissioner for Australia and Mr and Mrs Latham. The church was beautifully decorated and the decoration of the pews included oranges and lemons. The tower contains the peal of bells which gave rise to the nursery rhyme. The church was erected from a design by Christopher Wren"

This park of 93 acres is one of London's oldest pleasure grounds. Up to the reign of Henry V111 it was a marshy expanse with a hospital for lepers. Now it is one of the loveliest gardens in London and is most attractive at every season of the year"
