The diary comprising 3 volumes bound together, commences with the rules and regulations of (saSPSC) St Peters Senior College and a folded photograph of Miss Heather Thatcher cut from an unknown publication. This item covers locations around Adelaide, Port Pirie and Oodnadatta in South Australia.

A list of birthdays of people whose dates of birth approximated WD Walker's (together with addresses) by month, and a list of Christmas correspondents compiled by Walker followed by WD Walker's autobiography 1887-1914.

There are too many individuals named to index them in this brief inventory. The correspondents are primarily family and close friends, with a sprinkling of school acquaintances and some, like Mallyon, who managed Walker's inheritance.
