Seascape photograph captioned: "N2080. PT Boat patrol off Seria, near Brunei Bay, British North Borneo, during Allied invasion operations. Smoke from Seria oilwells, which the Japanese ignited during the Allied pre-invasion bombardments at Brunei and Labun Island, is shown in the background columns which rose to 7,000 feet. The flames were visible for 10 miles at mid-day. Australian official photo. 28/6/45."
