This photograph is of painting of an Aboriginal ceremony. It is unknown who the original artist is.
The painting has a group of men in two lines facing each other, a fire is in the middle and women and children are seated on each ends of the lines.
'N.J. Caire Photographer and Artist 97 Hindley Street Adelaide' printed on verso. Caire was at the Hindley Street address during 1865-1868.
