Thanks friends of the mission for their support with presents for all the Aboriginal people. Have had a lot of rain and cool weather. Christmas Cheer distributed to Haasts Bluff and Areyonga. The Pitjantjara at Areyonga learnt Arrernte so can sing hymns and recite scriptures. Hermannsbug baptismal service before Christmas, also confirmation and marriage services and problems with some marriages. Discusses Membata, now Doris (Australian Aboriginal woman), Albert Namatjira's (Australian Aboriginal man, See AA 229) mother in law and two young men, Murphy (Australian Aboriginal man), and George (Australian Aboriginal man). Ran Bible course for Helpers in January.
