From Albrecht to Riedel

Incomplete letter and report. Comments on a pamphlet about Hermannsburg. Asks for leave for daughter's wedding. Staff matters. Workers recommended by the mission did not complete mustering yard. Visited Areyonga, Haasts Bluff and Hermannsburg with officials from the Commonweath Education Department. The Department will build schools and staff them first at Areyonga and later Haasts Bluff. Recommends that Mrs Koschade be paid for nursing work at Haasts Bluff with the government subsidy, similarly pay Mr Koschade for working in the store. Hermannsburg school with 87 students needs to be expanded. Crisis with mission vehicles.
