Discusses the gulf between Aboriginal workers and employers. Low pay for Aboriginal workers but if increased to basic wage would result in loss of employment or management responsibility for welfare of employees and money would be squandered. Aboriginal work ethos needs to change. Stations need to provide clean, hygenic conditions and shelter; trading stores; offer year round employment. Bad influence of 'wandering Australian Aboriginals'. Education of children must be followed by apprencticeships. Conditions on cattle stations should encourage Aboriginal workers to stay.
