This series includes the following items:

  1. 'Agende fur die WonkAranda Gottesdienste. Liebler, Missonar. 1912: Hermannsburg, Central Australia.' is written on the second page of the exercise book. Contains missionary Oscar Liebler's (see AA 178) liturgy, in Aranda [Arrernte] including hymns, baptisms and so on. 23x18.5x1 cm.

  2. The first part of the exercise book contains hymns in Arrernte, translated into English. A note reads 'Made by Jim August 1921.' The book also contains notes of a religious character in Ernest E Kramer's hand, and some notes by Euphemia Kramer. 20.5x16x5 cm.

  3. 'Vocabulary. Aranda = English. German = Loritja. Hermannsburg 9 Sept [19]25. 23.9 Complete. Alice Springs E. E. Kramer.' is written on the first page of the exercise book. There are 68 pages of vocabulary. The back of the book contains notes on Aranda [Arrernte] grammar and some biblical translations. 22.5x17.5x1.5 cm.

  4. 'Compositions' embossed on the front of the notebook. On first page: 'Grammar of the Aranda Language. Copy after Pastor Strehlow Hermannsburg. May 7th 1931. Instructor Pastor Albrecht (see AA 662 and AA 707). Ernest E. Kramer, Alice Springs. Rep. Aborigines Friends Association of Adelaide (see AA 1).' Contains approximately 60 pages of notes. Explanatory text is in German. 21.5x17x1 cm.

  5. Notebook contains notes including aphorisms in Ernest E Kramer's hand. 16.5x10.5x5 cm.
