This item is the second of three volumes of genealogies collected on the University of California Los Angeles Expedition of 1952-1954. This item is a bound volume containing five books of genealogical information running in a continuous sequence from 'Australian Genealogies 1, 1953-54'. The genealogies in this item are from Western Australia and the Northern Territory.
Book One of this item is titled 'Genealogies Vol. R-6' and contains in total twenty-three pages of genealogies. There are twelve pages from Inverway, Northern Territory (pp. 114-125), and eleven pages from Gordon Downs, Western Australia (pp. 126-135).
Book Two of this item is titled 'Genealogies Vol. R-7' and contains in total twenty-three pages of genealogies all from Western Australia. There are twelve pages from Gordon Downs (pp. 136-147), and eleven from Sturt Creek (pp. 148-158).
Book Three of this item is titled 'Genealogies Vol. R-8' and contain in total twenty-three pages of genealogies all from Western Australia. There are fifteen pages from Sturt Creek (p.159-173), and eight pages from Margaret River (pp. 174-180).
Book Four of this items is titled 'Genealogies Vol. R-9' and contains in total twenty-three pages of genealogies all from Western Australia. Nineteen pages from Christmas Creek (pp. 181-198), and three pages from Gogo (pp. 199-201). There is also an index associated with Christmas Creek.
Book Five of this item is titled 'R-10' and contains in total twenty-three pages of genealogies from Gogo, Western Australia (pp. 202-224).
The pages of these books have been numbered by Birdsell pp.114-224 and run in a continuing sequence from 'Australian Genealogies 1, 1953-54'. There are 115 pages of data and 110 blank pages. This item was previously identified as a 'Birdsell Collection Notebook 30'.
