The drawing depicts 50 Australian Aboriginal people in four lines and dressed in skin cloaks, surrounding a lyrebird. A further six figures line the bottom of the drawing.

A single drawing in pencil, ochres and charcoal. Measuring 456x505mm. It is annotated on the reverse "Women's navy & Black 2/1 ribs 364. Drawn by King William Barak (King Billy). The last of the famous Yarra* tribe now living at Coranderrk 1903. *Wurundjeri Tr"

It accompanied by a note from Graeme Pretty (AA 255) to Dr Tindale (AA 338) advising it was presented by Mrs LAM Rogers of Norwood dated 11 June 1940.
