This item is an acetate negative depicting the head and shoulders of an Australian Aboriginal man. The unidentified subject is shirtless and standing in front of a sheet of corrugated iron. The photograph was taken outdoors and the shadow of the photographer can be seen on the subject's chest. There are no annotations and it is not clear from the image where or when the photograph was taken, or who the photographer was.
