This item is a 72 page typewritten draft of a dissertation written by Fenner titled 'The Australian Aboriginal Skull: It's Non-Metrical Morphological Characters'. The paper was written after Fenner conducted a detailed examination of approximately 1,180 Australian Aboriginal crania (see AA 91/3/4). Handwritten notes on the front of the draft read 'Read 14 Sept. 1939'. Some of the pages are handwritten and handwritten inserts of various sizes are also attached to the document. The paper was published in Transactions of the Royal Society of South Australia, Vol. 63, 1939, pp. 248-306.
