Nine male performers decorated and wearing helmets kneeling next to a drawing on the sand. A group of men stand around the performers. Four of the audience members are reaching out to grab the helmets of the performers.

42. 'Close of a ceremony in connection with the Wollungna [wollonqua] totem (snake). The helmets of the performers are being snatched off as they sit round a design representing the snake etc drawn on the ground. Warramunga.'
