'Inma or tjuringas from Ooldea'

This sub-series comprises a typescript copy of notes by Daisy Bates on 'Inma or tjuringas from Ooldea', dated 7 July 1932, plus one copy annotated by Tindale. In these notes Bates provides some details of the tjuringas and other objects she has obtained at Ooldea, and discusses cannibalism at Ooldea, the alleged murder of a white man by Aboriginal people near Kalgoorlie and the movements of Aboriginal people into Ooldea from the desert country to the north. This item was originally accessioned as AA23/2/2.
