Ngadlu tampinthi ngadlu Kaurna Miyurna yartangka. Munaintya puru purruna ngadlu-itya. Munaintyanangku yalaka tarrkarriana tuntarri.
We acknowledge we are on Kaurna Miyurna land. The Dreaming is still living. From the past, in the present, into the future, forever.
From H. R. Balfour "Wooringan" 45 Hopetoun Rpad, Toorak S.E.2 to Mr. J.T. Turner. Letter refers to a new issue of stamps featuring the head of an Aborigine, but not one that Balfour had photographed in the Musgrave Ranges S.A. and submitted for consideration. Refers also to a stone used to scrape clean a kangaroo skin (includes a sketch of this stone) + a rare stone that has been flaked prior to being ground. Other additions to his collection are mentioned: a knife made from a baler shell from Bentick Is in the Gulf "with the serrated edge made by biting pieces off by their teeth".
