Original diary was a black hard cover ruled notebook, written in ink 165mm x 100mm. Front cover held on with tape.
Typed transcription of personal diary entries from when Waite was at the Canterbury Museum. Includes copies of newspaper clippings with many regarding the position and appointment of Waite as Director of the South Australian Museum. Also copies of a change of address notice to forward his communications and parcels and a concert program in aid of Shipwreck Relief Society in which Wait is listed as playing a flute solo.
