Original diary was a black hard cover ruled notebook, written in ink 165mm x 100mm. Front and back cover worn.

Typed transcript of personal diary entries from when Waite was at the South Australian Museum. Includes copies of a newspaper clipping and program relating to talks given by Waite, announcement of the death of Mr Gustave Barnes, a musical program from 'The Yorkshire Society', with a talk by Waite on 'Experiences of a Diver' and a letter from the Australian Museum informing Waite of the appointment of Dr Charles Anderson as Director.
