Original diary was a black hard cover ruled notebook, written in ink 165mm x 100mm. Front cover and some pages loose.

Typed transcription of personal diary entries from when Waite took up his new position at the South Australian Museum. Includes copies of a number of newspaper cuttings, one being a retrospect of Waites time at the Canterbury Museum.
