Ngadlu tampinthi ngadlu Kaurna Miyurna yartangka. Munaintya puru purruna ngadlu-itya. Munaintyanangku yalaka tarrkarriana tuntarri.
We acknowledge we are on Kaurna Miyurna land. The Dreaming is still living. From the past, in the present, into the future, forever.
'Party-time. Barry's impression of Senior pupils class party. Barry had a medical history of chronic deafness due to perforated eardrums. For a brief period in ?1966 after operations in Adelaide on his ears he regained his hearing, he began to speak very clearly and participated in all school activities with happy enthusiasm. This dramtic change was sadly shortlived, as his eardrums once again were perforated by infection. The immediate effects were that he withdrew from active participation in most class activities except art and he spent most of his after-school hours alone beating out vigorous, expressive and complex rhythms on a suitable surface - usually empty 44-gallon petrol drums which lay about the township.'
