Collection: Aboriginal Heritage Branch
Location: Wooltana Station (SA)
Remarks: The grave of a woman of the Yadliowra Tribe. About three miles along the range to the west of the station. During the term of mourning, one month, the ground was swept clean around the grave and the mourners never spoke above a whisper, never mentioning the name of the dead, and covering themselves with white pipeclay as a token of mourning.
