Remarks: Alf Ryan was a tracker. He worked at Balcanoona until 1910 and went to Clare and then to Mount Gambier as a black tracker where he was known as Tracker Ryan. He lived with Amy Walker, nee Grab, from Point McLeay and they had four children.
