Remarks: Copied from two albums held for sale on consignment by Michael Treloar, 13/09/1990. Copy sequence is the same as the photograph sequence in the albums. Album no 1 contains photos 7881-8000 and 9001-9167. Most original negatives for album 1 are held in the South Australian Museum, Gillen Collection (AA108). A number of these images were published by Spencer and Gillen in the following: "Across Australia" (1894), "The Native Tribes of Central Australia" (1899) and "The Northern Tribes of Central Australia" (1904). Where this has occurred it is listed to follow.
