This photograph was taken at Parliament House on 5 April 1967 when the Victoria Cross was awarded posthumously to Major Peter Badcoe.
Left to right: Susanne holding the medal, Governor-General, Richard Gavin Gardiner Casey (Baron Casey, 1890-1976), Denise, Kim and Kerry-Anne Badcoe. Baron Casey was Governor-General from 1965 to 1969.
