Pile of bark from trees

1993 Yalata. Pile of bark from trees in the Yalata region collected ready to burn to make ashes for chewing with tobacco. These ashes were reputedly the best for ashes and were sometimes "sold" (in empty dried milk tins) to people living at Oak Valley on the Maralinga Lands - where there were no appropriate trees.
