This series contains thirty loose water colours of rock paintings and carvings. Of the drawings twenty-seven have a corresponding slide (AA 134/2), and three have no slide. Charles Pearcy Mountford (AA 228) used these images in his paper Examples of Aboriginal art from Napier Broome Bat and Parry Harbour, North Western Australia published in 1937 in the Royal Society of South Australia Transactions. It is possible he kept some of the drawings, There are also some drawings he uses which the South Australian Museum has neither the origial drawing nor a slide.

The series was digitised in June 2010.
