This series comprises the manuscript, proofs and correspondence relating to Worsnops 'The Prehistoric Arts, Manufacturers, Works, Weapons, Etc., of the Aborigines of Australia' published in 1897.

There may be several drafts and proof copies. AA 383/2/1 is broken into 5 folders labled P1-69, P70-113, P114-245, P246-379, P380-512. The individual sheets have been numbered 1- in pencil on the top right hand corner. From p37 an additional numerical annotation is made in blue pencil commencing at 473 (perhaps made by Amandus Heinrich Christian Zieta (AA 869). Some portions of this series were previously attributed to Capt SA White (See AA 365/10), and as at 6 June 2018 were still including in White's finding aid.
