This series comprises ten black and white (b/w) photographic prints of varying size and format. Many have original annotations written on the reverse of the photograph. All place names and proper names from the annotations and captions have been indexed. Note that some items show unidentified people and places. The prints are stored unmounted in a binder titled 'AA 1 Aborigines' Friends' Association (AFA) Photographic Prints, Album 3 of 4'.

South Australian Museum archivist Kay L Mead described this series in 1980. In her listing she recorded a caption for this series but the exact source of the caption is not known. The caption has been retained as the 'Series Title'. All of the annotations and ink stamps found on the prints have been listed in the 'Details' field of the inventory.
