This series includes letters from Dik Whitehouse to Reverend Harry Bartlett regarding requests for information relating to New Guinea. A sub-series of letters between Mr Whitehouse and Professor CG Seligman follow, as Dik Whitehouse had referred Seligman to Bartlett for further information. The letters are arranged chronologically in two sub-series and are dated between 1939 and 1946.
The last letter is from an unknown sender to Harry Bartlett in April 1946.
