The personal correspondence of E. R. Waite consists of four folders of handwritten letters. The first contains twenty four letters and two financial promise notes from relatives of E. R. Waite, including two letters from his son Claude as a child. There are also letters from his brother Wilfred including news of their fathers death. The second contains fifty seven letters and three letter cards, between E. R. Waite and his Father John Waite for the years 1900-1902. The third contains fourteen letters from Mrs Jane Waite to her Son E. R. Waite. The fourth has three letters from people Waite knew.
