Four compiled journals of anthropological journeys by Edgar Ravenswood Waite and an official history.

Content for the anthropological journals has been compiled from the entries in Edgar Ravenswood Waites diaries. Two journals are typed, transcribed, compilations, including photocopies of original photographs. The third journal is a typed copy, stapled and bound in cardboard covers, taken from the diaries with pencil sketches added. This copy belonged to Norman. B. Tindale. The fourth journal is a typed copy with hand drawn pencil sketches, bound into a book with handwritten pages by E. R. Waite, inserted into the back of the book. The Fifth is an official history of the South Australian Aquarium Society, published by Brian A. Rutherford, of which E. R. Waite was a Founder and President. A typed, spiral bound promotional copy, drawing from the diaries of E. R. Waite and his time as Director of the South Australian Museum.
