Ngadlu tampinthi ngadlu Kaurna Miyurna yartangka. Munaintya puru purruna ngadlu-itya. Munaintyanangku yalaka tarrkarriana tuntarri.
We acknowledge we are on Kaurna Miyurna land. The Dreaming is still living. From the past, in the present, into the future, forever.
This notebook includes 7 pages of newspaper clippings of Aboriginal words which was published in 'Corowa Free Press' on 23 September 1902.
It is noted that the vocabulary was obtained from John Mitchell who came up from Sydney in the 1830s and took up the Thurgoona Station on part of which the town of Albury now stands. John and his brother James obtained a knowledge of the language from the Aboriginal people who were camped near the homesteads.
