Ngadlu tampinthi ngadlu Kaurna Miyurna yartangka. Munaintya puru purruna ngadlu-itya. Munaintyanangku yalaka tarrkarriana tuntarri.
We acknowledge we are on Kaurna Miyurna land. The Dreaming is still living. From the past, in the present, into the future, forever.
Describes the protocols surrounding the slaughtering of beasts for meat to feed the mustering camps and settlements. Relates the story of Alan [Allan Ferguson] Brumby (1904-1975) (See AA 42) while at Oodnadatta (SA), telling a tall tale to a missionary about why the ears of a beast are removed. For this deception he was later caught out. Also relates the story of strawberry jam and Allan Brumby.
