Three bound volumes of typescript supported by black and white photographs on most pages.

Structured as a personal letter to the author as a prompt to record the events of his trip to the Northern Territory (Alice Springs - Darwin - Bathurst Island - Alice Springs) from 15 March to 6 September 1934.

The purpose of the trip was the study and research into the aetiology of Boomerang Legs and Yaws in Australian Aborigines.

The trip supported with a grant from the Sheridan Research Committee of the University of Adelaide to the cost of £275 but ultimately the gross cost came to over £700.
