Continuation of the newspaper (Northern Standard) reporting (7 August 1934) on the background to the trial of Australian Aboriginal man named Butcher [Namandarrarrk Knight] from page 98. Refers to the incident as a fight at 'Kapalgo' station (NT). Butcher found guilty and sentenced to death, later commuted to imprisonment. Parties named include John [Jack] Gaden (buffalo shooter), Ruby (Australian Aboriginal woman); Minnie (Australian Aboriginal woman). Further observes that co-habitation with an Australian Aboriginal woman against the Aboriginal Ordinance but no action taken against witness.
