Annotated printed map of the Canning Stock Route Expedition of 1908-1910, drawn by A. W. Canning. Sheet 4 (of 4 sheets) shows route north from 'No. 46 Well' to 'South Boundary of Kimberley Division' east of Halls Creek. Tindale recorded Aboriginal place names in various inks with 'tribal' names added later in pencil. A margin note on this sheet reads: 'Original data: - Ink names are those obtained by N. B. Tindale in 1953 by interrogation of and obtaining of native maps from aborigines during UCLA Expedition to NW. Australia (See all 4 sheets)'. Scale 1 inch = 5 miles.
