This item is a typescript copy of the journal. Includes handwritten annotations and drawings, vocabulary (400+ Ngalia words), population movements from 1950-1951, seasons of the year, songs, place names. Pages 39a and 46a have been included.

The expedition received financial assistance from the American Wenner-Gren Corporation, and from the Board for Anthroplogical Research (see AA 346), University of Adelaide.
