Tanganekald, Native-English

Drawer 2 of 2. This drawer contains the reverse Tanganekald to English vocabulary. Most of the words are drawn from Tindale's primary research. Two common references are: 'SE of SA NB 1931-1962' and 'Note on Hundred map of Encounter Bay'. The former relates to Tindale's 'Journal of Researches in the South East of S. Australia' (3 vols, AA 338/1/33/1-3) and the latter to the Hundred maps found at AA 338/24/28-29. The cards are filed according to the English gloss and occassionally carry notes on pronunciation and orthographic annotations. The main informant was Milerum (Clarence Long). See also shoebox AA 338/7/1/23.
