Annotations by NB Tindale include: 'Came in as little boy from desert; hes forgotten most places. Born at Ninukaratji Soak. His places are same as Charlie Baranardi Sheet R2 in map book. When these places were read over to him he was able to recall them. Previously he had remembered only the four given below. Came through Barramine Station as boy c10 yrs age. Saw white man first at Warrawangine. Noticed different color of skin. Worked on Station. As child wore mindjil (a pinafore) bush tucker langgur was the best meat; ie. Possum. Very short of food when rain came bush tucker came in. When no rain starving. When rain comes animals come out of spinifex'.
