This item contains twenty-two black and white photographic prints of Australian Aboriginal people. The photographs were taken in the Basedow Ranges in the Northern Territory during Finlayson's 1932 expedition to Central Australia. Finlayson's diaries of the expedition indicate that the Australian Aboriginal people depicted in these photographs were living at the camp of Mr William Liddle, the founder of Angas Downs pastoral station who assisted Finlayson on his 1932 trip. Each of the following print is annotated with a Negative number but the Negatives are not held by the South Australian Museum:
