Ngadlu tampinthi ngadlu Kaurna Miyurna yartangka. Munaintya puru purruna ngadlu-itya. Munaintyanangku yalaka tarrkarriana tuntarri.

We acknowledge we are on Kaurna Miyurna land. The Dreaming is still living. From the past, in the present, into the future, forever.

SUN 13

My darling girls

I'm pooped, flew for over 5 hours today. There is a fairly major deal going for the last 12 hours and we've been throwing in air strikes. Got your letter this evening about 11 is par for the course now.

I'm delighted that Weenie is so well and that she didn't have any trouble at all with her stitches.

The doctor appears to have done an excellent job all in all.

I'm very glad everyone had been so helpful as they should be for such special girls but its nice anyway. It was no trouble over the money little sweetie but fair warning. It won't be much this month - you'll see why late in DEC but who cares! I'll make up for it after Christmas and I Do want you little sweeties to have a good Christmas.

I thought one of our blokes had copped one today. We were in a bad area where you have to have live aircraft (in case one gets hit the others can call in choppers and air cover etc) and as we went down to check the result of the bombs the VC opened up and as we pulled away I saw Dennis hanging out of the window of the other L19 and something running down the side - his pilot got worried too - but all it was (was that his stomach had decided to throw up right then - he was highly embarrassed.

Another busy week ahead. I've got an air recce tomorrow morning, the a conf with some Int people then on to training my strike force people.

My tummy is going through one of its stable periods at the moment, parcel arrived from Weenie today with a very nice fruit cake block. I'll write tomorrow and thank her. I'm too pooped tonight. I'll finish this in the morning my darling. I love you dear

I feel 100% better I just couldn't keep my eyes open. Quiet night not a single telephone call from the duty officer. Paying officer is due tomorrow which will be helpful. It looks like being stinking hot today, we have 3 or 4 cold wet days and then 1 scorching hot one - crazy! Poor old Kimmy losing her school photo - but typical of her to find 20c the next day - just her luck -

The Colonel is off to Danang and Saigon for the next 4 days for a series of conf so I'm boss -which I could do without at the moment - Xim Lei. I must go my sweeties and earn some money. I think you've done wonderfully well over the whole business of Kerry's illness my darling and I'm terribly proud of you and the little girls. I love you so very much

Petie
