Ngadlu tampinthi ngadlu Kaurna Miyurna yartangka. Munaintya puru purruna ngadlu-itya. Munaintyanangku yalaka tarrkarriana tuntarri.

We acknowledge we are on Kaurna Miyurna land. The Dreaming is still living. From the past, in the present, into the future, forever.

Cultural Sensitivity Warning
It is a condition of use of the cultural components of the Museum Archives that users ensure that any disclosure of information contained in this collection is consistent with the views and sensitivities of Indigenous people. Users are warned that there may be words and descriptions that may be culturally sensitive and which might not normally be used in certain public or community contexts. Some records contain terms and annotations that reflect the author's attitude or that of the period in which the item was written, and may be considered inappropriate today in some circumstances. Users should be aware that in some Indigenous communities, hearing names of deceased persons might cause sadness or distress, particularly to the relatives of these people. Furthermore, certain totemic symbols may also have prohibitions relating to the age, initiation and ceremonial status or clan of the person who may see them. Records included may be subject to access conditions imposed by Indigenous communities and/or depositors. Users are advised that access to some materials may be subject to these terms and conditions that the Museum is required to maintain.

My Darling Girls

I've just got back from DANANG we had a panic conference. I stay with [deleted] He's as obnoxious as ever. He's waiting for [deleted] girl to have her baby in 4 wks and then he's taking her over (like a handover of slaves - yetch.)

I hate Danang - dirty smelly - brothel town

It's nice to get back to HUE. It's clean and still Vietnamese not with everyone aping the Americans

I got an extra pair of jungle boots and trousers anyway. I've decided to hold back Kerry's watch from Christmas. I think she's getting enough and it would make it too hard to balance the presents - what if I buy Kerry a nice necklace and/or Brooch, the doll for Susie - from you - and I just don't know about the microscope for Kim. I've bought Kim a cheap but I think nice ($12) watch for her birthday. It the sort you can write off in a couple of years and knowing the luck of my pour little Kimmy. I don't want to give her a good one and have her heart broken if she breaks it - a little late perhaps. So at the moment, I have sent - PACKAGE 1 your present via Weenie. - Package 2 - a communal present for the girls PACKAGE 3, Radio for the girls, brooch for Weenie, Pens for the girls. PACK 4 - watch for Kim's Birthday. Package 5 (goes tomorrow is two cartons of cigs tobacco etc For Mac) Maybe I will send Kerrys watch - she did have the appendicitis - its just so hard trying to avoid poor old Susie and getting a good deal - advice please mummy!

I've got a sore foot at themoment - Just won't heal on a cut. No mail in while I've been away. The system here is chaotic to say the least.

I must close now my sweeties or I'll miss the mail. I'll write properly tonight

Just remember I love you so very very much
