Ngadlu tampinthi ngadlu Kaurna Miyurna yartangka. Munaintya puru purruna ngadlu-itya. Munaintyanangku yalaka tarrkarriana tuntarri.

We acknowledge we are on Kaurna Miyurna land. The Dreaming is still living. From the past, in the present, into the future, forever.

Cultural Sensitivity Warning
It is a condition of use of the cultural components of the Museum Archives that users ensure that any disclosure of information contained in this collection is consistent with the views and sensitivities of Indigenous people. Users are warned that there may be words and descriptions that may be culturally sensitive and which might not normally be used in certain public or community contexts. My Darling Girls

Have just finished writing my monthly report as the Colonel is due tomorrow so I'd better get it done. Screw up on the pay they only sent us our meals allowance and NO PAY. My anguished cries could be heard in Saigon without a telephone. Our Adm offr is USELESS.

Had one of those days - my jeep broke down, my helicopter was cancelled - no pay, etc etc - I knew I shouldn't have got up. Busy day tomorrow US General and Col Milner both so I'll be running around. VC are getting pretty active shooting at planes coming into HUE lately - If they get the C.Os it will help promotion rates - They shot down another L19 (like Cessna) today. Pilot was hit twice but managed to get her down without pranging it. STILL pouring with rain and still freezing.

WED.

Col. Milner up today. No drastic news. Brig Graham has taken over the Task Force. Vincent is taking over from Gen Mackay as AFU Comd - Mackay is sent home with ulcers. I've got to get him out to QUANG TRI tomorrow if the weather permits. Been running around all day - US general visited - no problems.

Big panic tonight 2 VC bns due to attack PHU LOC district. We've reinforced with 2 companies so I bet nothing comes of it now.

Your photos just arrives - I love them both. They were misdirected to the wrong APO - NOT your fault my darling. Your addressing was exactly right. I've got them on the wall in front on my desk. I've left them in their plastic covers to help preserve them.

I think the one of you alone is gorgeous little sweetie and so is the group one. Susy seems to be a little chubbier than I remember, and they all look as cute as buttons. I know how much trouble and drama you had over them but if its any consolation they are very much appreciated at this end my darling. I'm off to QUANG TRI tomorrow for a one day (maybe two) conference on defence of RD. I'll drive up as the weather is so lousy you can never bank on getting in or back by chopper. Must close now my darlings, once again thank you so very much for the photos, they are a lovely birthday present and I really do love them. Now I've got them for my wall to look at as I write to my sweeties. Remember I love you so very very much my darling wife.

Petie
