The South Australian Museum has been committed to making Australia’s natural and cultural heritage accessible, engaging and fun for over 150 years. It is a place where families can learn and grow together.

Did you know that only 5% of our collection is on public display at any given time? By supporting your Museum, we can work towards getting even more of our wonderful objects onto temporary display. Our much-loved Wonders from the South Australian Museum exhibition which showcased 165 never before-seen collection items was one of our most visited exhibitions in the Museum’s history.

With your help, we can also bring exhibitions to our state like our 2018 blockbuster Dinosaur rEvolution which was our most visited exhibition of all time and our current exhibition Illustrating the Antipodes: George French Angas in Australia and New Zealand 1844-1845.

Your gift means that we can share and preserve the wonders of life on Earth, with you, your family and generations to come.
