Ngundjan (QLD)

LocationMitchell River south of the junction of the Palmer River; at Dunbar; an inland tribe extending south to Emu Creek and the Red River. An error in drafting placed the tribe too far north in the 1940 map. Note the unusual accentuation of the name. In 1940 I gave it incorrectly. An alternative name used on Stradbroke Island is the same as this but with initial stress.
