Ngalakan (NT)

LocationNorth of Roper River to Mainoru; from east of the Wilton River to upper Maiwok and Flying Fox creeks. At Mountain Valley. Spencer misplaced this tribe south of the Roper River. Berndt and Berndt 1951 were in error in ascribing it to the headwaters of the Katherine. Tindale first worked with people of this tribe in 1922 on the Wilton River.
