Annotated survey map showing 'tribal' distribution and Aboriginal place names in the Sutherland, Warburton and Bell Rock Ranges and Great Victoria Desert. A note signed by Tindale reads: 'India Ink = copies from another copy of this map with original notes made on 1935 trip to Warburton Ra[nges]' (see map 338/15/78). A second note refers to annotations 'In purple ink obtained at Laverton [Western Australia] during Harvard-Adelaide Expedition 1939'. Additional notes in black pen refer to the 1934 Ooldea Expedition. Corrections and place names were noted later in pencil. Scale 1 inch = 10 miles (1 inch = 800 chains).
